LiteGear S2 LiteMat is a unique and lightweight LED lighting fixture system designed for cinema, TV, and HD video. With demand from industry professionals for a colour-correct light source that is both lightweight and durable, high quality and economical, and simple yet cleverly fashioned, the system has taken an unusual approach to lighting. By providing evenly spaced, colour-correct LEDs spread out over a large area, S2 LiteMat creates soft light without requiring diffusion. This “soft-through-pixelisation” method allows the unit to achieve surprisingly bright light levels while remaining under one inch thick in size and is also just one kilogram (2.2 lbs) in weight.
The LiteMat gives a soft and controllable light. As a key light, you can easily mount the unit on a “baby” stand or attach it to an elevator wall with adhesive – backed Velcro®. So versatile, use it as a handheld fill light or mount it overhead.

Power and control of the LiteMat

Users are able to  power and control the S2 LiteMat by the same gear used for VHO Pro LED LiteRibbon®. LiteRibbon users can use all of their LiteDimmerTM Single and Hybrid controls as well as power supplies and battery adapters. Now is a great time to explore the world of LiteGear’s LED LiteRibbon.
